The Democrats of La Porte (not to be confused with the La Porte Democrats located in state the of Indiana) meet in the historic downtown area of La Porte, Texas monthly in an effort to connect and make change in our community. As voted on by members in 2024, our mission is as follows:
“We are the diverse and inclusive Democrats of La Porte, Texas, and the surrounding areas. We are dedicated to making connections, supporting democratic candidates, training volunteers, organizing efforts to educate local voters, encouraging political participation, defending democracy and human rights for everyone, and fighting voter suppression in all forms, as we are able.”
