Lets party one more time before the summer ends! We’re holding a community beach picnic for La Porte Democrats friends and family with free hot dogs, and refreshments. Attendees are asked to donate school supplies as an “entrance fee.”
We would appreciate RSVPing below so that we have an estimate headcount for the food and drinks.
The event will be held at 1300 Bayshore Drive also known as Seabreeze Park. Because this is a resident only park, you must have an ID with a La Porte address to enter OR reach out to one of the Democrats of La Porte officers to let you in. We have reserved the pavilion and can bring in guests.
Finding School Supplies
With other school fundraiser drives going on, we are focusing our efforts on kids JR High and High School age. If you have a child in the district, you can just pick up more of what you are already getting for them. The supplies list can be accessed via Skyward Family Access.
We recommend spending $1-5 in supplies per guest to the picnic. Two boxes of erasers for a hotdog is a steal!

To get the most bang for your buck, I recommend checking out the sales papers. I use the Flipp app to search all the papers at once on my phone. There is a browser version of Flipp so that you can view it on your phone or desktop without downloading the app.
