RESOLUTION NO. 1

IN MEMORY OF Jill Mouton

WHEREAS, The Board of Directors and the entire membership of the Democrats of La Porte mourn the passing of our beloved friend and colleague, Jill Mouton; and

WHEREAS, Jill served on the Board of Directors with distinction for almost as long as our club has existed, embodying the spirit of service, integrity, and passion that defines our club; and

WHEREAS, During her tenure, Jill made monumental contributions to our community, including taking on the texting project, as our Engagement Ambassador, and building relationships with each member of our club, and her diligent work on the Endorsement Committee; and

WHEREAS, Jill’s unique wisdom, sassy sarcasm, and friendly banter not only guided club decisions but also helped to keep our leadership team focused on serving our community and not just on the politics; and

WHEREAS, Jill’s physical absence leaves a profound void in our leadership team, her legacy will remain a vital part of our club’s history; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Board of Directors of the Democrats of La Porte on behalf of its membership:

• Recognizes with deepest gratitude and admiration the immense contributions of Jill Mouton over the course our short time together;
• Mourns the loss of an irreplaceable leader whose dedication shaped the success and culture of this club;
• Extends its most heartfelt condolences to Jill’s family, friends, and loved ones during this time of profound grief; and

Directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jill Mouton, and that it be recorded in the official club records of the Democrats of La Porte.
